If you inquire about study opportunities directly with our ApplyUniNow counselor, utilize our offer in principle services, or seek our assistance with your application to study, we may request additional information, including your education qualifications, employment history, occupation, areas of interest, professional memberships, copies of documents as proof of identity (e.g., passport, proof of citizenship, photographs), marital status, and your funding arrangements for your studies. We may also request sensitive information about you, such as your racial or ethnic origin (derived from information on your country of origin) and/or your health or medical information (e.g., from a medical examination required for your visa application and onward visa assistance and supportive official information).

Collecting your personal information allows us to: (1.1) Assist you in pursuing the opportunity to undertake studies at an educational institution located outside of your home country; (1.2) provide you with relevant information on your study options; (1.3) Present your candidacy to your preferred institutions across all education sectors, which are actively seeking international students interested in pursuing their studies in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Republic of Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States, the United Kingdom, and any other serviceable chosen destination; (1.4) Match you with course vacancies at your preferred institution and communicate offers in principle; (1.5) assist you to further your career after completing your studies at an overseas education institution, (1.6) provide opportunities to participate in projects/programs as consultants; (1.7) provide opportunities to provide feedback and testimonials on your experience; (1.8) inform and provide students, institutions and other clients of developments in the services we provide (including events and opportunities to participate in projects/programs); (1.9) conduct research for statistical, analytical and training purposes; (1.10) manage our internal business operations and events; and (1.11)respond to your questions.

STUDENT ESSENTIALS SERVICES

ApplyUniNow provides services from third parties to assist you in your studies abroad, and we refer to these services as Student Essentials. These services encompass including health & medical, accommodation arrangements, a 24/7 emergency helpline, referral to guardianship services, visa application services, and career skills training. Please note that the pricing for these services may vary depending on your country of residence and employment status, as per the laws of that country.

If you subscribed for the Student Essentials service, we may collect personal information, including your name, date of birth, and financial details. Additionally, we may collect sensitive information such as your health or medical records. We may also collect payment information, but ApplyUniNow does not retain details like payment debit or credit card information.

The collection of your personal information and sensitive data, including your health or medical information, enables us to: (2.1) provide the health insurance provider nominated by you with all relevant information for your oneself; (2.2) facilitate your accommodation arrangements with third party providers; (2.3) Contact the appropriate organizations, authorities, or third parties in relation to your overseas guardianship application; (2.4) respond to your query and/or direct your query when you contact the ApplyUniNow 24/7 assistance; (2.5) arrange or provide required products and services to you.

Visa application services for Australian visas

We provide visa application services including guiding you through the application process and helping you prepare the necessary documents for your nominated visa application. These visa application services not only cover visa applications required for study, but also post-study work and skilled migration visa applications limiting to assistance and guidance only but not guaranteed with visa acceptance by the authorities.

Collection of your personal information and sensitive information allows us to: (3.1) assist you in your application for a student visa including contacting the Department of Home Affairs of respective authorities and other organizations on your behalf to discuss your application; (3.2) provide the Department of Home Affairs of respective authorities with all relevant information required for your visa application; (3.3) keep you updated with the progress of your visa application and advise you of the outcome of your application.

Retention

ApplyUniNow’s privacies vision is to establish a global community of interconnected students, bridging the gap between academic pursuits and professional endeavors. To achieve this, we maintain communication with our users on a voluntary basis. However, we retain your information only to the extent necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

As your guide, we will retain your personal information for a period of up to five years commencing your enrollment in our program or your last interaction with us. This retention is necessary to facilitate ongoing support throughout your academic journey. However, we may be required to retain this information for legal or regulatory purposes.

As part of our commitment to international education and overseas study assistance, as well as industrial services, we conduct market research to obtain feedback from enquirers, potential enrolled and enrolling students, parents and guardians, and other stakeholders.
